"Your Journey, Your Dignity, Our Support"

My Prostate Journey
Just over 10 months ago, at the age of 59, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, something I had no idea I had until a men's healthcare wellness check revealed a high PSA level. (PSA? More on that later!) Since that first test, it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, conflicting advice, uncertainty, and tough decisions — a journey that is very much still ongoing.
For over 30 years, I've been actively supporting charities across the UK and abroad, including Breakthrough Breast Cancer, The Lily Foundation, Macmillan, Ronald McDonald, Prostate Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Society.
Today, I am proud to be the founder of a new charity — one you will not have heard of… yet. My hope is that, in time, it becomes as widely recognised as the organisations above that I have supported over the years.
Along my own journey, I've realised that few men talk openly about prostate health and prostate cancer, even with their own families; the implications, the stress, the embarrassment, the emotional toll, is often swept under the carpet. Whilst that silence is understandable, it's wrong in so many ways and if I can change that, I will!
"This charity was created with a single purpose: to help, guide, and support men living with prostate cancer and the challenges associated with prostate health. My goal is simple: if I can help just one man better understand his prostate journey sooner, to make informed choices and feel supported, I will have achieved something meaningful."
Keith Smith, Founder.
